Delicate embroidery on a wedding veil

The veil is a fine and transparent material, and embroidering it requires great care. The text must remain clear, without the fabric being wrinkled, torn, or deformed.

For this design, we used a light-colored thread, close to the shade of the veil. The embroidery is visible, yet remains discreet and elegant. The couple's names were done in a calligraphic font, and the date and message were positioned separately for a balanced look.

A personal detail for the wedding day

Veil personalization can include:

• the couple's names;
• initials;
• wedding date;

Why correct preparation is important

Embroidery on a veil is not executed in the same way as embroidery on a t-shirt, jacket, or thick material. The fabric is very delicate, and stabilization must be done correctly.

The following must be analyzed:

• stitch density;
• letter thickness;
• text size;
• thread type;
• positioning on the veil;
• fabric direction and tension.

Text that is too dense can wrinkle the material. Text that is too thin can become unclear. Therefore, the design must be specially adapted for the veil.
