Angelus TV addresses people of all denominations, religions, and the non-religiously affiliated, targeting both the Catholic public of both rites (Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic), as well as the general public interested in cultural, social, and current affairs topics.
Angelus TV's program schedule covers several registers: from devotional to informative and formative. Angelus TV supports the elderly or sick who cannot attend church celebrations, allowing them to enjoy live broadcasts of services from various locations in the country and a daily prayer guide program. The informative dimension primarily refers to current Catholic religious news in Romania and worldwide. Regarding the formative aspect, biblical, catechetical, and general interest topics are covered: art, culture, history,
social issues, and special programs by age group for children, adolescents, young people, and the elderly.
Angelus TV initially debuted online on this platform and presents original audiovisual content or content provided by contributors such as: CatedralaONLINE (Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bucharest), ORA CAtOLICĂ (SIGNIS Romania), ERCIS Media and ERCIS FM (Roman Catholic Diocese of Iași), SANCTUS LADISLAUS MEDIA (Roman Catholic Diocese of Oradea), the Media Service of the Greek Catholic Dioceses of Lugoj and Oradea, the Media Service of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Timișoara, the Holy Family Monastery, the Cristofori.ro and școala@iezuiți platforms, or from external partners such as: CHRISTIAN MEDIA CENTER, EWTN, LAUDATO TV, VATICAN MEDIA, RADIO VATICAN, and VATICAN NEWS.
The Angelus TV television project is open to all Catholic dioceses/eparchies in the country and the media structures operating within them, as well as to lay collaborators engaged in professional media activity.
The general public is invited to support Angelus TV through donations offered via the dedicated section of the website. Also, by directing 3.5% of the tax already paid to the state to the Signis Romania Association (the main producer of this television station), the television station is supported. Last but not least, in more and more Catholic churches, a donation stand can be found, both electronic (POS) and cash in the attached boxes. And, if there isn't yet a donation stand for Angelus TV in your church, you can support us by asking the parish priest or vicar to mediate the connection with Angelus TV.
We want this initiative to be supported by the Catholic Church in Romania and to be a source of joy and hope in the homes and hearts of all who need them!
